Wow...

Well, I haven't even managed to type a single post since I began. Such is the life of a teacher. I am no longer teaching middle school, due to low enrollment. Within one month of my first year, I was told they were collapsing a class and I would need to transfer to an elementary school. And so I ended up at my current site. It was a volatile first year. Yet I managed to survive layoffs throughout the budget cuts, and I'm back with another fantastic class. I love where I am and the lessons I've learned. Despite the struggles, I believe I've come out a stronger, better teacher. I can't wait until Jackson gets to do this too!
